Oak is a slow growing, valuable and extremely beautiful natural resource.  By using a 4mm or 6mm thick lamination of oak, instead of a solid 15 or 20mm solid Oak board, it is possible to stretch this wonderful timber resource three times as far.

The engineered timber substrate is constructed from fast growing plantation timbers that are readily replenished.
